Ramsey finishes 13th at state

INDIANAPOLIS

Seymour sophomore Devin Ramsey ended his season in solid fashion Saturday at the IHSAA State Swim and Dive Championships.

Ramsey finished 13th overall after recording 394.85 points, tallying scores of 29.25 and 43.70 on his final two attempts.

Richmond junior Isaac Khamis edged Fishers junior Cole VanDevender by .55 points to take first.

Ramsey totaled 290 points during the semifinal round to advance to the final.

At Bloomington North last Tuesday, Ramsey won a regional title and entered the state finals with the six-highest score.

Ramsey was competing in his first-ever state finals event.
