Cougars lose sixth straight game


Class A No. 4 Oldenburg Academy gave Trinity Lutheran all they could handle in a 68-28 win on Friday.

Trinity (5-16) scored just one point in the first quarter, a free throw by Chad Stuckwisch, as they trailed by 14 after eight minutes of play.

At halftime, the Twisters (18-2) held a 32-14 lead.

Out of the break, the Twisters held the Cougars to just four points in the third quarter while adding 10 to their own.

In the final eight minutes, the Twisters outscored the Cougars 23-10.

Stuckwisch and Colton Wischmeier each had nine points for the Cougars.
