Artwork by local students highlighting dating violence awareness will be on display through Feb. 17 at the Jackson County Public Library, 303 W. Second St., in Seymour.

The 2017 HeART Show is organized by Teens for Change as part of Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month to show healthy versus unhealthy relationships from teenagers’ perspective.

All art is by local students in Grades 7 through 12. Students can submit drawings, paintings, sculptures, photographs or collages and must explain their piece in a three sentence description.

The top three entries will receive prizes donated by local area businesses. The show is judged by Southern Indiana Center for the Arts.

Teens for Change is an outreach program provided by Turning Point Domestic Violence Services.
