Cougars top CAI

Trinity Lutheran opened the New Year with a 58-42 victory at Christian Academy of Indiana on Tuesday night.
The Cougars (6-11) built a 27-17 advantage at half.
CAI outscored Trinity 17-13 in the third quarter, but the Cougars buckled-in on defense in the final eight minutes as they held the Warriors to just eight points.
Abby Hackman led the Cougars with 22 points and 16 rebounds and Savannah Harweger chipped-in 21 points.
Thursday, Trinity will host sectional foe West Washington.
