Permits to cut firewood from downed trees along the roads of Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge are now available.

Permits are free and will run from now until March on a first-come, first-serve basis.

No resale of wood from the refuge is permitted.

The refuge is at 12985 E. U.S. 50, Seymour.
