The theme was “Christmas at the Movies.” Members dressed as their favorite Christmas movie person, character, object or holiday attire.

Prizes were awarded to Kalee Alberring (baby Jesus), Jan Robinson (Elf on the Shelf) and Joan Trimpe (most accessories used).

A buffet of hot and cold appetizers, meats, sweets and drinks were served by the hostesses.

There was an ornament exchange, along with secret sister exchanges.

Hostess gifts were presented to Taryn Rockey, Stephanee Roberts, Robinson, Desiree Hall, Angi Reynolds, Trimpe and Tracey Phillips.

On Jan. 4 at Woodstock Grill in Seymour, the 45th dinner-dance queen contestants and their mothers will be honored guests. The event is Feb. 4 at Pewter Hall in Brownstown.

Tickets are now available from all members at $75 per couple.

The theme is “Mardi Gras Mambo,” and all proceeds go to cancer research, the sorority’s national project.
