School board planning public meeting for superintendent’s contract


The board of school trustees of the Brownstown Central Community School Corp. will hold a public meeting at 10 a.m. Dec. 29 at the superintendent’s office for the purpose of discussing and hearing objections to and support for a proposed contract extension between the board of school trustees and the superintendent of schools.

The proposed contract is unchanged from the previous superintendent contract with the exception of an extension of the contract length with a resulting termination date of Dec. 31, 2019.

The board anticipates taking final action on this contract at its regular meeting to be held at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 10 at Brownstown Elementary School.
