Gamma Phi of Tri Kappa holds meeting

Gamma Phi chapter of Tri Kappa met Nov. 1 at the home of Mindy Roeder.

President Ann Tormoehlen called the meeting to order. Reports by officers were given. Glenda Proffer read the treasurer’s report. Andi Bukowski spoke regarding membership development. Julie Lemming read correspondence.

Brandi Musgrave, College Hugs, sent Halloween headbands to the college girls. She plans to send other gifts for the upcoming holiday season.

Erin Reinhart, gifts/meals, reported two meals were delivered to Tri Kappa members since last meeting.

Lauren Kirts, Just for Fun, passed around a signup sheet for a member workshop at Beautiful Chaos.

Mae Krumme, Meals on Wheels, sent a new schedule to those on the delivery schedule.

Mary Elisabeth Keller, mental health/art, addressed members regarding the donation of Christmas baskets.

Stacey Williams, community outreach, asked if Tri Kappa members would volunteer at the Girls Inc. Turkey Trot water stations.

Kristin Bear and Musgrave, Oktoberfest, addressed possible changes to next year’s cake walk.

Michal Leah Bevers, pecans, mailed in the order sheets after the most recent meeting.

Roeder, Twice As Nice Consignment Sale, notified members of the sale date set for March 11, 2017. A few changes will be made to the consignor packets, but they should be available soon.

Tormoehlen asked members how they would like to be recognized in the Jackson County children’s book after last year’s donation to the project. Members should contact her with any suggestions.

Province officer Lisa Robertson from Province 4 Delta Sigma chapter of Tri Kappa conducted inspection.

The next meeting will be the Christmas party at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the home of Alyson Fish.
