Tickets on sale for Braves’ regional game

Presale tickets are available for purchase for this Friday’s regional football game between Evansville Memorial and Brownstown Central.

The tickets, which cost $8, will be sold from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Brownstown Central athletics office Wednesday through Friday.

Friday’s game will start at 8 p.m. with the gates opening at 6:30 p.m. at Blevins Memorial Stadium. Wednesday, there will be a community pep session at 7 p.m. in the Brownstown Central auditorium.

Owls to host team dinner during game

The Seymour girls basketball team will be hosting a team dinner on Friday, Veteran’s Day, as they take on Silver Creek at the Lloyd E. Scott Gymnasium.

Sloppy joes, hot dogs, desserts and drinks will be on the menu.

A $5 donation is suggested.

The junior varsity game will start at 6 p.m. and the varsity will follow.

The Owls and their veteran hero will be introduced during halftime of the varsity game.
