Surprise Christian Church’s youth department will be conducting its junior worship kickoff party from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Saturday in the church’s fellowship hall located at 6382 N. County Road 100W, Seymour.

Students grades kindergarten through 12 are invited. The theme is “Diary of a Godly Kid,” and planned activities include pizza, watching the movie “Diary of a Wimpy Kid,” games and an introduction to the new youth leaders at Surprise Christian.
