Results from the 48th annual Fort Vallonia Days parade were announced Saturday.

Float: First place, Medora Christmas Festival; second place, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1925; third place, Tampico Christian Church.

Special feature: First place, Hobbs family’s miniature firetruck; second place, Jackson County bicentennial torchbearers and Bison-tennial bison; third place, Driftwood Township Volunteer Fire Department.

Marching unit: First place, Brownstown Central High School drill team.
