State Street Community Worship Center plans to conduct a clothing giveaway and fish fry on Saturday at the church at 104 S. State St. in North Vernon.

The clothing give away will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will feature clothing in various styles and sizes and some small household items.

The fish fry will be from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dinners will be available for purchase with choice of fish, chicken tenders or giant tenderloin, slaw, fries, drink, and choice of dessert. Items may be purchased individually also.

Both events are open to all.

The center is a nondenominational congregation that features traditional, southern gospel and contemporary music and is Bible-based. Sunday morning worship is at 10:30 a.m., Sunday evening service is @ 6 p.m., Thursday Morning Coffee Club Bible study is at 10 a.m.
