Juanita Duncan, 94, a lifelong resident of Tampico, passed away at 9:59 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2016, at Lutheran Community Home.

Born Feb. 7, 1922, in Crothersville, she was the daughter of Effice and Goldie Young Stout. On Feb. 1, 1941, in Uniontown, she married Harold D. Duncan, who preceded her in death Feb. 3, 2012.

Juanita was a member of Tampico Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, fishing and loved to cook.

Survivors include four daughters, Connie Jean (Edward) Karnes of Seymour, Donna Sue (William) Hill of Middleburg, Kentucky, Linda Diane Duncan Curtsinger of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, and Cathy Jo (Gary) Foster of Marietta, Georgia; seven grandchildren, J.R. Cunningham of Tacoma, Washington, Stanley Cunningham of Columbus, Michelle Curtsinger of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, Scott Curtsinger of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, Jeffery Hill of Middleburg, Kentucky, Jacqueline Hill of Dallas, Texas, and Sean Foster of Marietta, Georgia; 18 great-grandchildren; four great-great-granchildren; and a sister, Pauline Isaacs of Retreat.

Besides her loving husband of 71 years, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Donnie Curtsinger, and siblings, Gerald Stout, Irene Christopher, Edna Cozart and Roy Lee Stout.

The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Adams Family Funeral Home & Crematory in Crothersville, with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery in Brownstown.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service.
