Mark Murphy will be singing and preaching during the 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday services at Kurtz Church of the Nazarene, 5858 N. Cleveland St.

During the evening service, Murphy will be sharing his healing story. At 7 p.m. Oct. 10, 11 and 12, he will share in renewal services.

The public is invited to join the congregation for this time of music and spiritual reviving.

Murphy, a gospel recording solo artist, was voted one of the top five gospel soloists at the International Quartet Convention Solo Contest. He has traveled across America, Canada, Great Britain, Wales and the Caribbean.

He is an ordained minister and commissioned evangelist with The Church of the Nazarene. His music has allowed him to participate as a guest artist on TBN and CNN for his original song, “I Am Near.” He also has been a guest soloist at the Indianapolis 500 Bump Day Chapel and the Detroit Grand Prix Chapel and recorded with Bill Gaither.

Murphy and his wife, who is an oncology nurse in Anderson, have three married children and four grandchildren and live near Muncie.
