Habitat for Humanity of Jackson County is conducting an open house and home dedication from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday at 803 W. Laurel St., Seymour.

The house was built by volunteers, paid subcontractors and the Steven Engelking family through sweat equity hours.

Habitat for Humanity builds homes for low-income families in Jackson County.

The family then pays only what it cost Habitat for materials and services over the number of years it takes to repay the loan with no interest and at between 16 to 25 percent of their income.
