Recent Accomplishments: 11 receptions for 154 yards in a 36-35 win against Class 5A No. 13 Floyd Central, 44 rushing yards against BNL.

How were you able to perform to your fullest potential?

“I was able to perform well because going all out in practice all week and not taking a play off and studying film.”

What did you do well?

“I thought my perimeter blocking was greatly improved from the previous weeks and making plays when I needed to.”

Do you do anything special to prepare?

“Just go all out in practice and study film like crazy is how I prepare.”

“Venice, Italy because it’s the city on water and I like to be around water.”

“A future goal of mine is to play college football.”

Kaelyn Johnson, Brownstown Central cross-country, sophomore

Recent accomplishments: Ninth-place medal at Hardy Lake, third-place medal at Jac-Cen-Del, third-place medal at Eastern Invitational, 14th overall at Crawford County Invitational. Led Braves to first invitational wins at Jac-Cen-Del and Eastern.

How were you able to perform to your fullest potential?

“Practicing and conditioning hard, setting goals from last year’s experience and my potential.”

What did you do well?

“Placing high on cross-country meets with good times.”

Do you do anything special to prepare?

“Training sessions for the season.”

“Reach semistate for this year, run 20 minutes by the end of high school, win conference.”

Accomplishments this past week: Finished second at Eastern Invitational, fourth at Crawford County Invitational.

How were you able to perform to your fullest potential this past week?

“Doing what my coaches tell me and working hard in practice.”

What did you do well?

“I dropped my time down to 20:46.”
