Jackson County Public Library is offering is a free monthly art program for families to enjoy together on Thursdays in the coming months.

Family Masterpiece Makers will be offered at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 15, Oct. 20 and Nov. 16 at the Medora Library, 27 W. Main St., and at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 15, Oct. 20 and Nov. 16 at the Crothersville Library, 120 W. Main St.

In addition, young children will be able to strengthen fine motor skills using various mediums and experience new art and techniques while gaining kindergarten readiness skills, such as paper cutting, painting and pasting.

Class size is limited to 16, and registration is required.
