William E. “Bill” Imlay III, 72, of Seymour passed away Monday, Sept. 5, 2016, at Columbus Regional Health.

Born June 20, 1944, in Seymour, he was the son of William and Lucille I. Blair Imlay, both of whom preceded him in death.

Bill enjoyed classic antique cars, fishing and spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include his children, Kimberly (Ed) Hayes, Tina (James) Haste, Teresa Taylor, Amanda Lucas, Virgil (Lisa) Smith and William (Michelle) Imlay; 22 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; two brothers, Wilbur Imlay and James Imlay; three sisters, Beverlyn Weddell, Vonda Coffelt and Alta Cruse; and his lifelong companion, Mary Jane Lucas Imlay.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two grandchildren.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Voss Chapel. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service Thursday.

Memorials may be given to the donor’s choice of charity.
