7 p.m.: Mr. Jackson County Contest with proceeds benefiting the Southern Indiana Center for the Arts, Pines Evergreen Room, 4097 U.S. 31 North, Seymour. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.; heavy appetizers at 6 p.m. Cost is $40.

Sunday

10 a.m. to 1 p.m.: The third annual Hoosier Scale Classic RC Scale Contest, Freeman Field Airport, Southern Indiana Flying Eagles Field.

1 to 6 p.m.: Inaugural Second Street Live block party in downtown Seymour, featuring live music from Jordan Richart, Paradigm and These Fine Gentlemen, food trucks. Free school supplies will be handed out to children.

4 to 6 p.m.: Jackson County Relay for Life wrap-up ice cream social, in the pocket park on South Chestnut St., next to Chillicen.
