Relay for Life of Jackson County will wrap up its 2016 event with an ice cream social from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Steinker Platz, 212 S. Chestnut St., Seymour.

Chillicen will donate 25 percent of all purchases during the social to Relay for Life. Drinks and cupcakes also will be served. Lawn chairs are recommended.

The social is open to the public and will feature an awards presentation and fundraising announcement at 5 p.m.

Attendees will vote on the 2017 event date and theme, play games and listen to music.

Anyone at the social also will have the opportunity to volunteer for the event leadership team.
