Patsy “Pat” Howard, 70, of Seymour, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2016, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Born Feb. 19, 1946, in Clearspring, she was the daughter of  James and Alma McNabb Ledbetter, both of whom preceded her in death. On July 21, 1967, in Seymour, she married Larry Howard, who survives.

Patsy was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Seymour. She loved canning and gardening. She loved writing stories and was great with words. She was a wonderful wife and a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Other survivors include her children, Rhonda Sharp, Tony (Sharon) Howard and Nicole (Jeff) Lewis; seven grandchildren, Dakota Lerza, Taylor Bode, Olivia Brewer, Kylie Lewis, Conner Howard, Madelynn Lewis and Jacob Lewis; two great-grandchildren, Tatum Smith and Avett Lerza; two brothers, Danny Ledbetter and Ted Ledbetter; and two sisters, Dorothy Greene and Joyce Shutters.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Destiny Skye Howard, and a sister, Betty Dailey.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Voss Chapel with Elder Kevin Bell officiating. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until time of service Saturday.
