Golf scramble set at Shadowood

Anchor House Family Assistance Center & Pantry plans to conduct a golf scramble Friday at Shadowood Golf Course.

The event will feature longest drive, putting and “Beat the Mayor” contest. There also will be a hole-in-one contest for a 2016 Cadillac from Bob Poynter GM.

The entry fee, which is $75, includes the greens fee, cart, range balls, prize drawings and a group memento photo for each player. Prizes include new golf bags, Fairway woods, golf certificates, a golf course GPS, Odyssey golf putters and hybrid irons.

Registration starts at 7 a.m., and the outing will begin with a shotgun start.
