Captains were selected and names drawn for the Spirit Club teams. Heading the Red Team is Reynolds and Pfaffenberger for the White Team.

Secret sister names also were distributed. A $200 donation was given to the Community Foundation, and a representative in the Jackson County Fair queen contest will be selected.

The group talked about new committee organizations and upcoming fundraisers, such as the food tent Sept. 23 and 24 at the Hen and Chicks Barn Market and November Basket Bingo.

The 108th national convention of Phi Beta Psi, “Rockin’ in Cleveland,” will be July 10 through 14 at the Airport Marriott Hotel in Cleveland, Ohio. The national second vice president, national treasurer and national editor will be elected.
