Writing club to meet at library

The Jackson County Public Library Spilling Ink Writers Club plans to meet at 2 p.m. Saturday in the meeting room at the Seymour Library, 303 W. Second St.

The July topic is “Writing Games.” Stations will be set up with fun writing prompts to help spark a creative paragraph or poem.

Registration is not required for this free group, which is open to all ages.

Writers of any or no experience are invited to learn and write together. Participants should bring their laptop or notebook and writing utensil to participate in the write-in.

Published author and library information services assistant Kathi Linz leads the group, which meets on a mid-month Saturday each month.

Linz will share a handout that will encourage personal productive writing habits.

Information: Linz or Janet Hensen at 812-523-4636
