BUTLERVILLE

Bessie M. Speer, 72, of Butlerville, died at 8:35 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2016, at The Waters of Clifty in Madison.

Survivors include sons, Ty (Sara) Speer and Troy (Brenda) Speer of Butlerville and Sam (Charlotte) Speer of Bowling Green, Kentucky; a brother, Sam Lachmann of Washington; sisters, Emma Feasel of Fortville and Augusta Harper of North Vernon; two grandchildren; and a stepgrandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Speer; and a daughter, Jennifer Jill Speer.

The funeral service will be at 7 p.m. Saturday at Sawyer–Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until time of the service.

Memorials may be made to Our Hospice of Jennings County or Graham Baptist Church.
