Forty-seven Indiana University East student-athletes earned Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference All-Conference Scholar-Athlete distinction for the 2015-16 school year.

To earn the award, student-athletes must maintain a grade-point average of 3.25 or higher, compete in a KIAC sport and be nominated by their athletic department.

Lance Hackman of Salem, a Brownstown Central High School graduate, was among the athletes honored. He is a member of the men’s golf team.

IU East’s All-Conference Scholar-Athlete total is the highest in program history. More than 40 percent of all Red Wolves student-athletes made the list. The IU East athletics department earned a 3.07 cumulative GPA for the 2015-16 school year.
