BROWNSTOWN

Marcy Garrett, 50, of Brownstown, passed away Monday, June 20, 2016, at her residence.

Born July 27, 1965, in Seymour, she was the daughter of William Jerry and Gloria Joy Baughman Garrett. Her father preceded her in death on June 17, 2009, and her mother survives in Brownstown.

Marcy was a member of Brownstown Christian Church.

Survivors include a brother, Marcus (Wanda Reynolds) Garrett of Brownstown; and three sisters, Susan Underwood of Seymour, Debra Hamilton of Brownstown and Bethany Ault Pyle of Fort Smith, Arkansas.

Besides her father, she was preceded in death by three nieces, Viki Underwood, Briana Ault and Jaslene Pichardo.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Brownstown, with Brian Richard officiating. Burial will be at Smallwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of the service Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be given to Brownstown Christian Church or Hoosier Christian Village Auxiliary.
