Quilt guild planning program

The Small Town Quilt Guild of Seymour plans to conduct a quilt program at 7 p.m. June 30 at Jackson Lodge 124 Free and Accepted Masons, 1818 N. Ewing St. Seymour.

The public is invited.

The topic is “Bed Turning,” which involves layering many quilts onto a bed and revealing each one in turn, with some description and/or history told for each quilt. Cindy Claycamp will be the narrator.

Admission is $5 person. Participants will receive five tickets to place in sacks for a raffle basket. There will be multiple baskets to choose from, and more tickets may be purchased with a greater chance of winning a basket.

Guild members also will be displaying their historic quilt challenges, which is part of the bicentennial celebration for Indiana and Jackson County.

Refreshments of cake and punch will be served.
