Schneck Medical Center offers a free educational seminar on surgical weight-loss options the second Monday of each month at the Seymour hospital.

The next seminar will be at 6 p.m. June 13 in the Schneck auditorium near the visitors entrance. No reservations are required.

During the seminar, Dr. Robert Cooper will discuss the benefits and risks of weight-loss surgery and its growing use for the treatment of morbid obesity.
