Gordon and Brenda Burke Pifer of Seymour plan to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary from 5 to 7 p.m. June 4.

The open house, hosted by their sons, Donnie and Kelly Pifer, will be at Donnie’s home at 6528 N. County Road 1300E, Seymour. All family and friends are invited to the open house celebration for food, drinks and a trip down memory lane. The only gift the couple desires is your presence.

The Pifers were married June 4, 1966, in Seymour.

They have two sons, Donnie (Danene) Pifer and Kelly (Beth) Pifer, both of Seymour; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She retired from the office of Swifty Oil Co., while he retired from Cummins Engine Co.
