AUSTIN

Timothy “Joe” Jones, 56, of Austin passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at Columbus Regional Health in Columbus.

He was born April 17, 1960, in Seymour.

Joe attended Third Street Pentecostal Church of God in Austin. He loved trading guns, repairing computers, doing cemetery genealogy and loved helping people.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Kay Jones, Austin; daughter, Angela Kay James, Scottsburg; son, Christopher Joe Jones, Austin; parents, Ray and Caroline Sue Jones; brothers, Ray Anthony Jones, Seymour, Edward Jones, Crothersville, Sherman Jones, Hayden, and Matthew L. Jones, Crothersville; sisters, Linda Sue Muncy, Crothersville, and Teresa Robinson, Deputy; and five grandchildren, Kaitlinne Moldero, Keirstin James, Shaylia Jones, Blake Jones and Aliyiah Jones.

The funeral service was held at 1 p.m. Sunday at Buchanan Funeral Home in Austin with the Rev. Harley Madden officiating. Burial took place in Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Austin.
