Quilters group plans meeting in Columbus

Columbus Star Quilters Guild’s regular meeting will be June 1 at the Masonic Lodge at 4131 Rocky Ford Road, Columbus.

The program will include a show-and-tell of member projects and a presentation about color by Bev Brown of Tree City Stitches.

June is the guild’s “birthday month,” and there will be a pitch-in luncheon after the meeting to celebrate. Those planning to attend are asked to bring their favorite dish to share.

At the conclusion of the festivities, there will be a work day, so participants are being asked to bring their machines to help the guild prepare for the semiannual quilt show in October. You can bring your own projects or kits will be available for you to sew.

Anyone interested in quilting may attend.
