NORTH VERNON

Saundra D. Townsend, 69, of North Vernon died at 9:58 a.m. Monday, May 16, 2016, at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry Townsend of North Vernon; sons, Eric Townsend of Coral Gables, Florida, Adam Townsend of North Vernon and Byron Townsend of Decatur County; sisters, Mary Dean Hoffelich of Scipio and Becky Hearld and Zelma Hearld, both of North Vernon; brothers, Andy Hearld of Greensburg and Terry Hearld of Fort Wayne; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life service will be conducted at a later date.

Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service in North Vernon handled arrangements.
