Great U.S. 50 Yard Sale this weekend

The 16th annual Great U.S. 50 Yard Sale runs Friday through Sunday.

Residents and businesses along the highway, which runs through Jackson County, can set up sales along the route that stretches from Maryland to California.

The longest annual yard sale in the world started in 2000 and is a way to promote tourism along U.S. 50, unite communities, provide opportunities for fundraising, aid in recycling efforts and gives people lots of sales to check out, organizers said.
