The Little Mr. and Miss Red, White and Blue contest will be conducted during the upcoming Crothersville festival.

All boys and girls who are residents of Jackson County and between the ages of 5 and 7 are eligible to participate. The winners will be determined by the amount of money raised. The crownings are set for 6:15 p.m. June 9 on the Crothersville Red, White and Blue Festival stage.

The winners will ride in the festival parade at 1:30 p.m. June 11.

Applications can be picked up at Jubilee Flowers and Gifts, 801 W. Tipton St., Seymour, and The Peoples Bank, 310 N. Armstrong St., Crothersville. They must be returned by 5 p.m. May 31 to be eligible. As soon as a contestant’s application is received, he or she may start raising funds.

Containers must be returned to The Peoples Bank in Crothersville by noon June 8. Each container must include the contestant’s name, age and picture and Crothersville Red, White and Blue Little Mr. and Miss.

All funds will support the Zambelli Fireworks show, which is set for 10 p.m. June 11 during the festival.
