NORTH VERNON

Donald James Stephens, 71, of North Vernon, died at 4:24 p.m. Monday, May 16, 2016, at his residence.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Pauline Stephens of North Vernon; son, Robert Stephens of North Vernon; daughters, Teresa (Brian) Helton and Lora (Matthew) Heuer, both of North Vernon; sister, Emily (John) Kirchner of North Vernon; and four grandchildren.

The funeral service will be at noon Thursday at Dove-Sharp and Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 11 a.m. until time of service Thursday. Members of North Vernon Masonic Lodge 59 will conduct a Masonic service at 7:30 p.m. today.

Burial will be at Butlerville Cemetery in Butlerville.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana or First Baptist Church in North Vernon.
