A juvenile recently was arrested for theft after reportedly stealing items from a storage shed.

Officer Chris McCoy with the Seymour Police Department was dispatched to the area of Phillips Lane for a reported theft of multiple items from the storage shed.

During his investigation, McCoy found indicators of how the suspect or suspects may have fled the area with the stolen property. Following those leads, he was able to locate and recover the stolen items from a residence in the 100 block of Windhorst Court.

Further investigation led to the arrest of a female juvenile.

Additional arrests are likely relating to this incident, police said.

McCoy was assisted by officers Ryan Cherry and Bart Bevers.
