Hunter education class planned

A hunter education class will be conducted from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday and from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Brownstown Church of the Nazarene, 616 W. Commerce St., Brownstown.

Participants must attend each day and pass a test at the end of the course to receive a hunter education certification, which is required for anyone born after Dec. 31, 1986, to obtain a hunting license.

Classes are free of charge. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m.

Those who wish to attend must preregister at indianahuntereducation.com. Click on “Classic Course,” scroll to the correct date and location, click “Register Now” and fill in appropriate boxes to register students.

Anyone under 12 years of age needs to be accompanied by an adult. Class is limited to 100 students.
