AVONDALE, Louisiana

Arnold Lee Mautino, 81, of Avondale, Louisiana, passed away May 2, 2016.

Arnold was the son of Joseph and Henrietta Robins Mautino, both of whom preceded him in death. He was the beloved husband of Ruthanna Brooks Mautino, who also preceded him in death.

He was the father of Janet Lee (Warren) Hebert, Carol Ann Mautino, Richard Wayne (Miriam) Mautino, Deborah Jean Boudreaux, Jerry Allen (Cindy) Mautino, Laura Marcella Mautino and the late Robert Joseph (the late Karen) Mautino; and grandfather of John, Warren, William, Brian, Robert Jr., Miranda, Madison, Randall, Brandi, Joshua and Christopher. He had many great-grandchildren, along with other relatives and friends.

Arnold was born in San Antonio, Texas, and resided in Avondale, Louisiana. He was a coatings designer and inspector for many years, working at several shipyards including Avondale Shipyards, Newport News, Quincy Shipbuilding and the Norfolk Naval Yard. In his later years, he owned and operated several local businesses including coin operated laundry services and Avondale Sno-Balls. He will be sadly missed.
