NORMAN

Roseanna George, 70, of Norman, passed away Friday, May 13, 2016, at her home.

Born Jan. 28, 1946, in Anderson, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Boone.

She was married twice. Her first marriage was to John Gaffney, and that ended in divorce. She later married Jerry George, and he preceded her in death.

She loved to sew and cook and at one time was the owner of a diner. She also had taken some art classes in college.

Survivors include an adopted daughter, Heidi (Jimmy) Teagarden of Colorado; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Kathy Garza of Seymour.

She was preceded in death by two daughters.

At this time, there are no public services scheduled. At a later date, her ashes will be buried at Liberty Cemetery in Norman.

Donations may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
