Southern Indiana Center for the Arts Paint the Town social painting experience has partnered with Blondie’s Pizzeria and Pub for the May event.

The brews and brushes event begins at 6 p.m. May 23 at the restaurant at 100 S. Main Street in Brownstown.

“Students will paint a detailed flower and paisley pattern in rich jewel tones of turquoise, gold and royal ruby on an earth tone background,” instructor Darnell Dukes said. “The pattern will be on the canvas to help ease everyone’s mind about the painting.”

Class price is $35, which includes supplies and Blondie’s buffet. SICA members receive a 20 percent discount. Price includes all supplies and instruction.

Drinks may be purchased separately at the event.
