The Color Me Green 4-H Dash is set for June 12 at the Jackson County Fairgrounds.

Registration will begin at 1 p.m. that day, and the run/walk will start at 2 p.m. Participants should park near Exhibit Building 4.

Cost is $10 plus a donation for the local food pantries (canned goods, cereal, etc.).

Pre-registration must be received by May 27 to be guaranteed a T-shirt. Registrations received after May 27 will not be guaranteed a shirt but can still participate in the event. Checks should be made payable to Extension Education Fund.

The event is open to all community members and 4-H members, families and volunteers.

The approximate distance is 1½ miles, with the option of completing and walking or running two to three miles. This is an untimed, fun and flexible event to promote healthy living initiatives in Jackson County 4-H.
