Stacy Leigh Brown, 43, of Zionsville, died unexpectedly Sunday, May 8, 2016, at her home.

Born Jan. 10, 1973, in Minot, North Dakota, she was the daughter of Jack and Terris Sipes Brown, both of whom who survive.

Stacey was baptized at Medora Christian Church and was a member of Trader’s Point Christian Church in Whitestown. She was a 1991 graduate of Brownstown Central High School and received a Bachelor of Science from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. She was a registered diagnostic medical sonographer clinical applications specialist diagnostic ultrasound.

Other survivors include her aunts and uncles, Steve and Sandy Brown, Larry and Lynn Baughman, Bob and Sharon Nolan and Dennis and Debra Wayman; and 23 cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harley and June Brown and Cyrus and Helen Sipes; an uncle, Harley “Kike” Brown; and a cousin Danielle Reed.

Graveside rites will be at 2 p.m. today at White River Valley Cemetery in Medora with pastors Stan Thomas and Doug Hanner officiating.
