Beginners can learn to knit or crochet and advanced yarn-crafters can work on their summer projects together during Knit and Crochet Night at 6:30 p.m. May 12 and 26 at the Seymour Library, 303 W. Second St.
This free drop-in program generally meets on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month. The program is led by volunteer Georgiann Coons.
Beginners should bring short, size 7 or 8 knitting needles or a size J or K crochet hook and a ball of regular worsted weight yarn to begin to learn either craft. Experienced yarn-crafters may bring their current projects or try new patterns furnished to the group.
