Clarence Albert Boling, 73, of Crothersville passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at Schneck Medical Center with his loving family at his side.

Born Jan. 7, 1943, in Seymour, he was the son of Hershel Edward “Mike” and Dorothy Niewedde Boling, both of whom preceded him in death. On Jan. 8, 1963, he married Rosie Marie Hanner, who survives.

Clarence served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He enjoyed fishing, mowing grass and spending time with his family.

Besides his wife, survivors include his children, Chuck (Becky) Boling, Debbie Boling and Pam (Joe) Campbell; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three brothers, Larry Boling, Gale Boling and Mike Boling; and two sisters, Mary Foster and Linda Terry.

He also was preceded in death by six brothers and a sister.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Voss Chapel. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery with full military graveside rites conducted by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1925, American Legion Post 89, Disabled Veterans 47, Korean and Vietnam Veterans, all of Seymour.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service Friday.

Memorials may be made to donor’s charity of choice.
