Jama Denise Brown, 49, of North Vernon died Saturday, April 16, 2016, in North Vernon.

Survivors include her son, Devin Matthew Brown of North Vernon; parents, Robert “Bob” and Janet Barber of North Vernon; brothers, Jerry (Terrie) Barber, Dennis (Martha) Barber and Mark (Laurie) Barber, all of North Vernon; sister, Linda (Howard) Couchman of North Vernon; and one grandson.

She was preceded in death by a son, Dustin Michael Brown, on Oct. 22, 2010.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon. Burial will be in Vernon Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service Wednesday.

Memorials may be made to the funeral home for expenses.
