The Friends of the Jackson County Public Library used book sale is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in the meeting room at the Seymour Library, 303 W. Second St.

Special Friends-only previews of the sale will be from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Friday and from 9:30 to 10 a.m. Saturday.

During the final hour of the main sale, the “everything-a-bag-can-hold-for-$3” is in effect.

Regular prices during the sale are $1 for adult hardback and softbound books; 50 cents for children’s and young adult books and paperbacks; and $2 for DVDs.

Donations of gently used books are welcome to help stock upcoming bi-monthly sales and the other ongoing sales at the Seymour, Crothersville and Medora libraries. Donations may be dropped off at any checkout desk during library hours.

Anyone interested in becoming a Friend (or renewing membership) will find forms at the sale, at the checkout desk or online. Annual dues are $5 for individuals, $10 for family, $25 for donor and $50 for benefactor.

The next bi-monthly sale will be June 4 at the Seymour Library.
