The Brownstown Area Ministerial Association has announced plans for pre-Easter activities for the Brownstown area.

Next week, the group will host a cross walk throughout Brownstown. Each day, the group will meet at noon and carry a large wooden cross from one church to another.

It will start Monday on the courthouse steps in Brownstown and each day proceed to a church. The walk usually takes about 30 minutes and includes prayer and devotional thoughts throughout.

The schedule is as follows:

Monday: Courthouse to Brownstown Methodist Church

Tuesday: Brownstown Methodist Church to Brownstown Presbyterian Church

Wednesday: Brownstown Presbyterian Church to Brownstown Church of the Nazarene

Thursday: Brownstown Church of the Nazarene to Brownstown Christian Church

On Friday, the community is invited to Brownstown Christian Church for the annual Good Friday service. The service begins at noon and will include Scripture, music, prayer and a message presented by one of the local pastors.
