The congregation of First United Methodist Church is planning an Easter event entitled “Road to Resurrection” from 2 to 5 p.m. March 26 at the church at 201 E. Third St., Seymour.

The event will allow participants to step back in time and follow Jesus’ footsteps through the week leading up to his death and resurrection.

Along the path, you will encounter people who have met Jesus and become part of an incredible experience, according to a news release from the church.

This journey is for all ages, and you are asked to email, text or call to reserve a departure time, as every 15 minutes a new group will be scheduled to begin this hour-long journey.
