A hero that I like most is Abraham Lincoln. He was completely honest, and it is this honesty that earned him the nickname “Honest Abe.”

He also never smoked or drank in his life, and I think that is a good lifestyle to follow. He had lost five elections before he finally became president, so that shows that he never gave up.

He also took charge during the Civil War and communicated to generals by the telegraph. He said, “I walk slowly, but I never walk backwards.” I like this saying because it shows a good way to follow your life. He is a hero, and for me, a good role model, as well.
